About Lloyd John – Senior Account Manager
Lloyd John brings years of IT, Sales and PPC Marketing experience to Maple Forest. Lloyd has a vast and detailed knowledge in highly competitive online marketing sectors, such as Insurance, Online Casinos and Retail Sales. Lloyd has a strong business and sales background having performed sales process audits for a number of companies. As well as being process and results driven he loves learning about what makes a business tick.
Outside of Maple Forest Marketing – In His Own Words
Volunteering
Once a week I volunteer an evening for a local non-profit newspaper. We report on local community matters and we research and write relevant articles deemed to be in the public interest. My involvement extends to utilising my creative marketing skills to generate and maintain their website presence for our publications, as well as promoting new events and competitions as and when required. This involves meticulous planning and keeping within tight deadlines.
Mystery Shopper
I’m also an active mystery shopper who is regularly tasked with paying visits and making phone calls to unsuspecting businesses to gauge their attitudes and professionalism towards customer service and their own product/brand awareness. This takes me to some of the larger High Street stores and financial institutes. As I’m constantly learning the importance of good customer service and the correct methods of clear communication, this provides firm footing and keeps me focused for my day to day role at Maple Forest.

About Fraser Birt – Senior Account Manager
Fraser Birt brings several years of web marketing experience to Maple Forest. Beyond his PPC and SEO experience he as an extensive background in web copywriting, email marketing and content development. Fraser has vast business and Search Marketing experience in varied sectors which span across, Training Courses, Dentistry and Luxury Brands; to name just a few. As well as being easy to get along with, Fraser loves embracing technology and finding new interesting techniques of making online marketing more rewarding.

Online Culture
I can’t remember life before the internet and I love learning everything I can about how it functions. Dipping into various spots and web subcultures is a particular joy. You can often find me hanging out at the community weblog Metafilter.
Trains, Planes and… Food
My general nerdish bent has given me a consuming love of trains and planes. I love flying, and I love hopping on a train, sorting out routes, and even just exploring old stations and lines. It’s entirely possible that the eight-year-old boy in me never went away.
I’m also a die-hard kitchen geek. I’ll try to cook and eat just about anything, with no promises if it will be tasty.
I was born and raised in Canada, which explains the North American twang when I answer the phone for Maple Forest!
